Mikkel Bang is a big inspiration to a lot of us. And we mean that both figuratively and literally, because if you’ve ever stood next to the guy, he’s probably looming over you.

What’s harder to measure is longevity. Mikkel has been a professional snowboarder longer than a significant portion of our audience has been alive, and somehow he’s still operating at full throttle. Call him an Alaska line assassin, call him a lifer, call him whatever you want. But when it comes to picking apart big terrain with equal parts power and composure, there are only a few names in the conversation, and Mikkel’s been on that list for decades.

Lynx pulls together footage from Alaska, Japan, and Canada, and serves as Mikkel’s full part based largely in the shots we saw in the Burton x Red Bull film Paved.
