Tactics today announced a new partnership with the legendary Pacific Northwest snowboarder Josh Dirksen. Josh is renowned for his impressive snowboarding career including top video parts, competition wins and climate advocacy work. Josh is also the founder of the Dirksen Derby snowboard rally race. As an Oregonian and a Mt. Bachelor local, Josh is a natural fit to join the Tactics team.

“I grew up in Eugene and then moved over to Bend, just like Tactics,” says Josh Dirksen. “We have the same friends, we live in the same town, and we ride the same mountain in the winter. It is a perfect fit. I am very excited to start working with the crew and score a few deep pow days with them along the way."

His career accomplishments include influential video parts, multiple magazine covers, prestigious contest wins, The Dirksen Derby snowboard race, and advocating for the climate with Protect Our Winters. Based out of Bend Oregon, Josh spends his best days riding Mt. Bachelor with his wife Fabienne and their 9-year-old daughter Alana.
