The Ice Coast Never Melts–A trip to Homesick and Last Call
Some say East Coast snowboarding is a relic. But spend one weekend at Homesick and Last Call, and you’ll see—it’s not dead, it’s just older, louder, and still knows how to party. Pat Bridges and I linked up in Boston, drove into the night, and crash-landed at Stratton like two ghosts of winters past. Between late-night Green Door lore, surprise Todd Richards 7s, and the Zebulon Rail Jam's 40+ division (yes, it ruled), this was less a contest circuit and more a reunion tour with edge control. Last Call sealed it: chaos, character, carnage. The East lives.
Remembering Jeff Keenan
On March 24, 2025, a tragic avalanche east of Kootenay Lake, BC, claimed the lives of Jeff Keenan, Alex Pashley, and Jason Remple. Keenan, 44, was a beloved figure in snowboarding—known for his riding, filmmaking, and co-founding Dinosaurs Will Die. His humor, creativity, and dedication left a lasting impact on the culture. Our thoughts are with all affected, especially Jeff’s wife, Leanne, and their son, Khyber, as we remember a truly irreplaceable presence.
